Post Road Iron Works - Our Process

Post Road Iron Works is located in Greenwich, CT. Our Connecticut Structural and Ornamental Metalwork factory fabricates and produces commercial and residential steel, iron and aluminum metalwork for structural and ornamental installations. We create ornamental and structural steel for installations in our immediate surrounding towns of Greenwich, New Canaan and Darien, CT as well as all of Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in CT, and many other communities throughout the New York metropolitan area, including steel works in New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, NY and northern New Jersey.

What the Post Road Iron Works process creates

Our craftsmen create railings, stairs, structural steel members, gates, fenciing and fences, balconies and catwalks, columns, curved stairs, decking, dunnage steel, gates, fire stairs, gratings, ladders, lintels, spiral stairs, brackets, scrollwork and hundreds of other items used in both structural and ornamental metalwork for residential homes, apartments, stores, office buildings, government buildings and other commercial properties and public spaces.

Post Road Iron Works recent projects

Among our many projects, we are currently at work creating and installing ornamental and structural steel components for the September 11 National Memorial in lower Manhattan. We recently created the railings and guardrails for The New Yankee Stadium, the seating perimeter for the spectacular Revson Fountain at Lincoln Center, interior and exterior steel for the NY Presbyterian Hospital, and the St. Georges Ferry Terminal for New York City’s Staten Island Ferry.
